These wines are no longer available directly from the winery, although you may find them on a restaurant's wine list, in good wine merchants or even your own cellar!
Good weather at bloom time coupled with a cool summer created expectations for a very late harvest. However, as if prescribed, two perfectly timed and spaced heat spikes of short duration in early and late August dramatically improved wine quality by advancing ripeness. The warmer August was followed by a very long and cool fall. The slower pace of flavor development produced a longer harvest as vintners waited for seed and grape skin tannin to mature.
